2007 saw the third Victory Show in Cosby Leicestershire, TommyAtkins has supported this event from its very first show and helped it grow year by year.

Each year re-enactors strive to make this show as interesting and informative as possible to make this a truly memorable visit for the public.

This year saw a new addition to the shows competition with the magazine Armchair General putting up a £100 bounty to be awarded to the group with the best display.

All groups put in a sterling effort and the competition was stiff with many trench networks and beached tanks.

Tommy Atkins came out top with our reproduction of two original war time photos. One of Canadian soldiers who had built a bunker out of ammo crates and a burnt out house with british Tommies having tea. See our photo section for more pictures.

Our award from Armchair General, an engraved star..

"Best display Victory Show 2007"

The award also included £100 for group funds which is being put towards new educational material and equipment for future events.

A big thankyou to Armchair General for there support and generosity.
